Holiday Cheer

We got down the Christmas decorations today and I'm really excited about the season. I love everything that comes with the holidays: spending more time with the family, tons of food, shopping for the perfect gift, but best of all, I love how excited the kids are about everything! Plus, I like being able to use the whole Santa thing over their heads. Probably SuperNanny doesn't recommend this approach but it works wonders. I tell them, "Santa is watching so be really good!" Leah has already made her request for a princess kitchen and Bryce wants a Star Wars mask. I swore this year I wasn't going to buy too many toys because their playroom already looks like Toys 'R' Us threw up in there, but I can't resist the temptation to make them smile. Oh well, they are only little once and I plan on making everyone of those years special.
